Working with the PUM
1. Install Oracle 12c clients 2. Copy tnsnames entry for PUM database to local
client installs 3. Uninstall CA version from previous PUM 4. Install CA version from PUM (if newer) 5. Use pshome from PUM (if newer)

Gotcha’s
Oracle Support now asks which PUM image you are on Initially seemed to expect all fixes were up to date Some fixes are difficult to pull out individually
