Create 5 Non-Traditional Day lesson plans for our classes.

Plans Should Include Cover page Standards Targets Flashback content- Using results from Unit
Assessments given prior to October... Focus on learning targets on which the class has shown non-mastery. Build lessons around these targets.
Formative Assessment- (to document learning/ student accountability).
Technology (on which lesson completion is not dependent)
Content from all areas Authentic learning opportunities
Plans May Include Reading/Reading Comprehension (Fiction or
Non-Fiction) Non-fiction content articles with questions,
guided reading, etc. Skill Drill Practice (Content Specific) Research Projects ACT Test Prep Vocabulary/ Spelling Activities Writing Prompts Flashcards (paper or digital) Stand-alone Projects
Teachers Must be Accessible
Required E-mail Phone, through school contact
Optional Learning Management System (i.e. Edmodo, Schoology) Webpage Personal phone
Have an on-line presence 8am-11am 12pm-3pm
When possible, be at the school 10am-3pm
Teachers Should… Post “something” early in the morning of
a Live RED at Home Day to an email, blog, website, text, etc. including welcome and reminder of availability.
Provide meaningful, timely feedback on all assignments.
Important Dates October 1-31-All 5 days of plans
submitted to prncipal by Oct. 31. November 1-15- Principal review and
quality control December 1-Packets go home district-
wide
Required Documentation Must include the following information:
Student Participation Percentage Teacher/Staff Participation Percentage Certified/Classified Staff Duties Learning Outcomes Met
Classroom and school data sheets will be developed and given to all teachers to collect data.
Time sheets will be developed and given to all staff to document time.
