MEETING and COMMON GROUNDS
Come see what we’re about, share
a pot-luck dinner, and hear an
informative presentation on the
subject of mental health and
wellness! Afterwards, you have the
choice of remaining in the fellowship
hall for Common Grounds-social
time, dessert and coffee –or
attending one of our support
groups*: either Family support or
Connection (for people living with a
mental health diagnosis)
Common Grounds offers our
members and visitors a chance to
Interact, learn about the NAMI Programs, and have fun!
Must be 18 yrs/older to attend support groups;
ALL ages welcome in Common Grounds!
JANUARY COMMON GROUNDS:
It’s up to the participants …suggestions games, chat and
get to know each other, tell stories, share a poem, sing
songs, etc
(We ask for a voluntary $1 donation which goes towards
Clubhouse fund)

The December 6 – General Meeting Holiday

fellowship, many thanks to all who worked so
hard to make it happen and to Rena Phillips for

In 2017 it would be great to get participation from the membership, if writing is your passion (it could be articles, poems, made up stories, whatever) …if art is your passion, please take a picture of your artwork and submit that..., if music is your passion..there is that song or CD you just love…take a picture of the single or CD cover and submit it…. Whatever your passion…share it with our community
In addition I would much appreciate someone keeping us up to date on current legislation… Also to all the Professionals (Therapist, Social workers, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, Mental Health Court Program) that receive our newsletter If your accepting new clients would you provide us with your contact information, location, whether you work on a sliding fee scale and what if any insurance you accept (Medicaid, Medicare)
