MUOS UPDATE (NDIA) PMW-146-D-16-0138
How Can Industry Help?
• End-User Applications for MUOS
Define the standards for applications Develop, integrate, and verify existing / new applications Concepts for an “app store”
• Industry Use Consortiums
Share knowledge on MUOS use and CONOPS – Application developers, terminal makers, providers of ancillaries and tools – Information Assurance , key management, provisioning
Provide feedback on common solutions/enhancements to improve MUOS
• New terminal uses for MUOS platforms / missions • Small and Nanosats
Rapidly deliver new capability to meet emerging Naval space needs Develop, integrate, and verify software applications for cubesat-sized payloads Provide concepts for small satellite resiliency
