Need and motivation

Academicians and Researchers inEngineering and Science require platformsthat allow them to explore and generatenew ideas, solve complex problems, andleveraging a robust and flexiblecomputational framework. MATLAB andSIMULINK are widely used across industriesworldwide for research and as a tool fortheir product development, which enablesthem to apply their results to interestingand challenging real-world examples.MATLAB (MATrix LABoratory) is a multi-paradigm numerical computingenvironment and proprietary programminglanguage developed by MathWorks.MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, interfacingwith programs written in other languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, Fortran andPython.

Objective

This Faculty Development Program (FDP)aims at deliberation, sharing knowledge tothe target audience about the significance ofMATLAB Tools and its application, which canenable them to use it as a tool for theirresearch in their respective field. Thediscussion shall foster applications inMechanical Engineering through MATLAB.Also this program provides an excellentopportunity to exchange ideas on the topicsof importance along with thought provokingtechnical sessions.
