• Previous secretarial experience• Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures• Strong communication skills• Ability to operate standard office machines• Ability to operate computer, including proficiency in word
processing and spreadsheet applications• Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in secretarial duties;
working through to completion with little or no supervision• Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and discretion
in performing duties• Know the importance of confidentiality• Must be able to perform the physical demands of this position,
which includes sitting, standing, talking, seeing and hearing. Occasionally it will be expected to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motions many times.
• Demonstrated ability to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public, staff, students, and families.
