LedbyBreaux,LSUhasseenincreasingaccomplishmentsthatincludesnine-straightNCAAChampionshipsappearances,twoSuperSixesinthelastthreeseasonsandsevenindividualnationaltitlessince2002. UnderBreaux’sleadershipandcoaching,LSUgymnastshavebeguntoreachnewheightsinindividualandteamsuccess. In2010,LSUreachedtheNCAAChampionshipsfortheninth-straightyearand22ndtimeinBreaux’scareer.SusanJacksonbecamethefirstLSUgymnasttocaptureNCAAAll-AroundnationaltitleasshebecameLSU’sfirstthree-timeNCAAchampion. In2008and2009LSUjoinedelitecompanybyadvancingtotheNCAASuperSixFinalsasBreauxandtheTigersbrokethroughintothesix-teamfieldforthefirsttimeinprogramhistorytocompeteforcollegegymnastics’nationalchampionshipin2008.TheTigersfinishedfifth,beatingoutrivalAlabama,forthebestfinishinprogramhistorysincethecurrentNCAAformatwasimplementedin1993. In2009,LSUmadearepeattriptotheSuperSixtocompeteforthenationaltitleandonedaylaterBreauxcoachedseniorAshleighClare-Kearneytotwoindividualnationaltitlesonvaultandfloor. Asthe“DeanofCoaches”atLSU,BreauxhasrepresentedtheUniversityatthehighestlevelbothinthegymand,mostimportantly,intheclassroomformore

than30years.Herdedicationtothestudent-athleteonanindividualbasishastranscendedintoacademicsuccess,communityinvolvement,CoachoftheYearhonors,SECChampionships,NCAARegionalChampionshipsandtop-10nationalrankingsthroughouthertenure. Nowenteringher34thseasonasthemastermindoftheLSUgymnasticsprogram,thefireinBreaux’seyesburnsasbrightlytodayasitdidonherfirstdayonthejob. DuringhertenureBreauxhasestablishedandmaintainedLSU’sreputationasoneofthepremiercollegiategymnasticsprogramsinthecountry.Underhertutelage,theTigershavefinishedamongthenation’stop-10teams22timesin33seasons,placingaprogram-bestfourthin1988,fifthin2008andsixthonfourseparateoccasions. LSUhasalsoplacedamongthetopthreeinregionalcompetitionon25separateoccasions,winningregionaltitlesninetimesinthreedifferentdecades,includingback-to-backfirst-placeregionalfinishesin2008and2009.Herteamshaveincludedsevenindividualnationaltitles,98All-Americahonorsand47All-SECselections. Additionally,Breaux’sTigerswontheinauguralSECChampionshiptitlein1981andhavegoneontofinishsecondfourtimesandthirdfiveothertimes.
