CHRISTMAS HAMPER
This year the P & C are holding a Christmas Raffle. We are asking for donations of items we can use in a Christmas
Hamper. Donations can be left in the box at the school office.
We have been very fortunate to have 3 scooters donated to us by Beach and Bush. This is a very generous gift and we
thank them very much for their generosity at this time of year.
The prizes will depend on the amount of items we have donated. First prize will be a scooter and a hamper then it will
depend on the amount of donations as to what we have to offer for second and third prize.
A book of 10 tickets costing $1 each will be sent home this week.
Our school was the lucky winner of Rous Water’s M.A.D School Water Team activity. Back in June all the students had water education class sessions with Rous Water’s Education Officer. As well, senior student’s carried out a water audit and suggested ways the school could save more water. Some of their ideas were making sure the taps are turned off properly and remembering to use the half flush button on the toilets. The tank will be used with a new green house. Watering seedlings and plants with rainwater instead of the town supply will help to save the school money and use less water from Rocky Creek Dam.
YEAR 6 GRADUATION The Year 6 graduation will be held at the Zest Function Room at the
Southern Cross University
on Tuesday 13 December 2011
at 5:30pm

This is the final chapter in their primary school years.
Please ensure you have all booked your tickets through the school
office.
