Leeds Metropolitan University Graduation CeremonyCase Study
GL events UK has supplied several temporary
structures for the University’s graduation
ceremony events.
A Giant structure was used for the main reception and
the entrance featured full height windows and glazed
doors along the entire width. The area in front of the
entrance was ramped and fitted with a green carpet,
while a transparent PVC canopy roof let in some light
and protected students from the elements.
The gable beneath the canopy was fully branded to
read ‘Welcome to graduation’ with the Leeds
Metropolitan University logo.
The reception area was linked internally to other
temporary structures that were used for catering
and toilets.
The University required several practical temporary structures for use as a reception, ceremony hall,
retail outlets, information points and storage areas.
