K-Family Day ‘09Fall Rally will be October 3 rd atSix Flags Over Texas. The park 

hours are 10 am-10 pm. The rallywith all of the Key Clubbers will be

at noon. The cost of tickets is $26.A flyer is attached. It should behung up in order to publicize theevent. You do not need to be amember to attend. If you haveany questions please let me know!

50’s Themed!This year’s District Convention willbe 50’s themed! It will be held inDallas, TX during April 14th-18th,

2010. Also, our new ConventionLiaison is MK Tyler! Just somethingto keep in mind: the sooner you

register the closer your seats are,so start getting the word out

about convention! Contact mewith any questions you may haveabout this event. It should be a

fun time!

SUPERHEROES OF SERVICEOur first Presidential Council

Meeting/Fall TrainingConference will be either eptember 12th or 19th. The

heme will be “Superheroes ofervice,” and you can dress up if

ou want! I got a chance to talk with other Lt. Governor’s atummer Board, so we were able

o plan. An email will be comingwith specifics. Please let menow which date would be best

or our clubs.

GOVERNOR’S PROJECT:

This year’s project

chosen by Governor Kevin is “R.E.A.D.” (Read,Educate, and Donate).

You can collect books,read with children, etc.More info should be

going up on the

website.

DISTRICT PROJECT:

It will be “Key Club

Coloring the World.” Thiscould be collectingcrayons and coloring

books, coloring with kids,putting a mural up in aschool/ hospital, or 

anything that involves

color!

DIVISIONAL PROJECT:

The project I chose for my

division (25E) is “Recreation

in Rwanda.” This iscollecting any light-weight

sports equipment (wiffleballs, nerf balls, etc.) that Iwill send over to Rwanda,

Africa. I will be sending out

a flyer later.
