The park hours are 10 am-10 pm. The rally with all of the Key Clubbers will be at noon. The cost of tickets is $26. A flyer is attached. It should be hung up in order to publicize the event. You do not need to be a member to attend. If you have any questions please let me know! It should be a great time! 50’s Themed! This year’s District Convention will be 50’s themed! It will be held in Dallas, TX during April 14 th -18 th , 2010. Also, our new Convention Liaison is MK Tyler! Ju st something to keep in mind: the sooner you register the closer your seats are, so start getting the word out about convention! Contact me with any questions you may have about this event. It should be a fun time! SUPERHEROES OF SERVICE Our first Presidential Council Meeting/Fall Training Conference will be either September 12th or 19th. The theme will be “Superheroes of Service,” and you can dress up if you want! I got a chance to talk with other Lt. Governor’s at Summer Board, so we were able to plan. An email will be coming with specifics. Please let me know which date would be best for our clubs. PCM//FTC FALL RALLY Convention NEW MEMBERS IDEAS: The beginning of school is the best time to recruit new members! Try setting up an information booth in the hallway to just tell students what Key Club is. If you need any help with that... e-mail me! QUICK pROJECTS// GOVERNOR’S PROJECT: This year’s project chosen by Governor Kevin is “R.E.A.D.” (Read, Educate, and Donate). You can collect books, read with children, etc. More info should be going up on the website. DISTRICT PROJECT: It will be “Key Club Coloring the World.” This could be collecting crayons and coloring books, coloring with kids, putting a mural up in a school/ hospital, or anything that involves color! DIVISIONAL PROJECT: The project I chose for my division (25E) is “Recreation in Rwanda.” This is collecting any light-weight sports equipment (wiffle balls, nerf balls, etc.) that I will send over to Rwanda, Africa. I will be sending out a flyer later. In this issue: PCM Fall Rally Convention Projects KEY CLUB is the largest service leadership organization in the world.
