GODREJ CONSUMER PRODUCTS IMPROVES DECISION-MAKING

Godrej Consumer Products wanted a user-friendly BI solution to
replace SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse. Its central aim was to
improve analytical capacity across the organization, allowing users
to integrate data from disparate sources. A more interactive
business discovery platform would enable the business to monitor
and drive performance. Mr. Milind Korgaonkar, Associate Vice

important that the new solution was simple and easy to use as well
as providing employees with self-service access to data.” It needed
to offer near real time access to information to create reports,
which would improve decision-making and avoid duplication in
reporting and response times.
Solution:
The IT team at Godrej Consumer Products worked with Qlik Partner
Green Cube Infotech and ran a proof of concept (POC) with QlikView
using the company’s own data.
QlikView 11 proved the best fit for the business based on four
pillars: ease of vdeployment, simplicity of the user interface,
scalability, and performance. Green Cube Infotech demonstrated its
expertise in QlikView during the POC. After this, the firm deployed
QlikView to 350 users in the sales unit to be followed by supply
