The following menus are suggestions towards planning your day with us.We always try and remember that it is your day not ours. So we are flexible and happy to interchange dishes, create new menu
ideas and give you the freedom to make the day personal to you.
We understand that we may need to cater for guests with special diets and that children may want simpler food prepared.
This is never a problem, but the main party dine from a set menu.
We also appreciate that numbers can change right up until the last moment. We can change arrangements and will be flexible if necessary.
Reception drinks, canapés, wedding breakfast and evening buffet prices are based on price per person.
Room hire price is based on the total guests.

Minimum NumbersNo room hire is charged for wedding breakfasts and evening parties,
subject to you meeting our minimum number requirements.
The minimum numbers at which we accept bookings varies depending on the time of year or day of the week in which you would like to be married. These minimum numbers are based on adult
guests and are shown for both the day and evening below. We also offer midweek dates.
As always there is a degree of flexibility so please ask if you have any questions. Normally reservations below minimum numbers are not accepted less than 8 months in advance.
We are also able to offer small, intimate weddings, dependent on the time of the year. Please give us a call to discuss your ideal day.
If numbers fall below the above then the following room hire may be charged:

For provision of the room for your ceremony: £550Civil Ceremonies are to be booked with Walsall Registry Office.

Bands are asked to stop at 10.30pm. Midland Pro DJ should then complete the evening. All DJ music must be played through Fairlawns sound system

BreakfastIf there are more than 20 Wedding guests staying overnight; for service reasons we reserve the right
to serve a buffet breakfast in a private dining room at 9.15am.
Deposits & Payments...Once you have selected a date, you have 10 days in which to settle the deposit required to
confirm the booking. The deposit required is £1,000.
A further £2,000 is to be settled 8 months before the date. A Pro Forma is then raised for100% of the anticipated outstanding balance; this must be settled 6 weeks before your
wedding day. Final accounts are to be settled within 28 days. Final Numbers must be agreed 7 days before the day of event.
Tables & PlanWe have round tables that can accommodate up to 12 people.
Tables are laid with white linen, crockery and glassware. We are pleased to lay out any decorations, favours or name cards that you wish to provide.
Favours containing alcohol are not permitted under our licence terms.
You have flexibility to design a package to suit you. Below are some examples of different days

Terms & ConditionsApplicable to all reservations
Reservations are accepted subject to your acceptance of these conditions and are non-negotiable.
7. A pre-payment amounting to 100% of the forecast account is required by no later than 6 weeks prior to the reception. This payment (which will have respected the payments already received) is deducted from the final account. Final balance is due within 28 days. Any damage caused to the property by your guests will be your responsibility and will be charged accordingly. It is your responsibility to insure for any loss or damage to wedding gifts brought on to hotel premises, as these are not covered by hotel policies.8. For security reasons access to the hotel restaurant, residents bar and bedrooms is restricted to residential hotel guests only.9. For Health and Safety reasons you are required to appoint one person to take responsibility for the safety and security of children with whom the management can communicate throughout the event. Children must remain under close supervision and remain within the rooms designated to your event at all times.10. It is your responsibility to notify the hotel in writing, should any guest attending the party suffer any food allergies. 12. Evening Parties - should you choose to have an evening party then we ask you to respect the following conditions which are in place to protect our reputation and to ensure compliance with the policies we maintain regarding the service of alcohol in accordance with Licensing Laws and Health & Safety legislation. • A buffet should be provided for all guests in attendance, including children. • The hotel resident disco should be used. • Non-resident bar facilities are available until midnight with music terminating at the same time. Non-residents are asked to vacate the premises by no later than 12.30am. • The residents bar facilities are for hotel guests only. This facility is open until 2.00am.
1. Provisional reservations must be confirmed within 10 days along with the appropriate deposit. Reservations not confirmed within this period will be released.2. A further deposit, of £2000, is required 8 months prior to your event.3. All deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation or postponement.4. Whilst every effort is made to hold all published prices for each calendar year Fairlawns Hotel Limited reserves the right to increase them at any time up to 12 weeks prior to any reservation, or up to the day should the increase relate to Government taxes such as Excise Duty or Value Added Tax.6. Should the reception be either cancelled or postponed then your deposit will be retained by Fairlawns Hotel Limited and you accept responsibility for settling the following charges: • Up to 7 months prior to the date of the reception – 75% of the anticipated total account (both daytime and evening) based on the number of guests booked on your reservation. Calculated to include any applicable room hires and the most economical food/drinks packages. • 7 months or less before the date of the reception – 100% of the anticipated total account (both daytime and evening) based on the number of guests booked on your reservation.
