ESSMARC NIGERIA LIMITED is a company owned by a consortium of young Nigerian entrepreneurs to provide qualitative Logistics, Procurement, Supply and other services to the Oil & Gas and Energy sector of Nigeria, as well as to medium scale and domestic consumers using up-to-date modern techniques. The Company which formally operated as an enterprise was founded by ____________, a heavy weight in the field of Supply procurement and logistics services with over ________ years of accumulated experience.
ESSMARC Nig Ltd became incorporated as a Limited liability company with Corporate Affairs Commission in Abuja with the mandate of becoming a first class supply and haulage firm in Nigeria and beyond while at the same time delivering satisfactory services using protocols that meet international standards
Our company has a comprehensive pool of trained and experienced staff in engineering, Logistics, Protocol, marketing and sciences. We have fully operational office and warehouse/stocking facilities. We are in partnership with Certified Tank Farm operators thereby ensuring steady and unwavering supply of Varieties of petroleum products.
Our logistics and protocol unit is well fortified with adequate vehicles and a team of experienced personnel to ensure smooth and timely deliveries devoid of debacles.

Tracking Systems
To ensure proper handling and optimization of our supply chain, we have fortified our vehicles with the latest GPS coordinated tracking gadgets. This enhances a 24 hour real-time monitoring of all vehicles on transit. Our monitoring bases are manned by seasoned personnel in this line in a well equipped office.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITIES OF SOME KEY PERSONNEL
Managing Director
At the helm of affairs of the company and oversees the day-to-day running of the company vis-à-vis operations, logistics, coordination of both main personnel and sub-contractors etc. He also interacts with our technical partners on administrative issues.
Chief Financial Officer
The duties of the CFO shall include Controllership duties, he bears the responsibility of presenting and reporting accurate and timely historical financial information of the company. Other functions include Treasury duties, Economic strategy and forecasting. He shall also ensure that all company operations are well financed and accounted for.
Project Manager
He coordinates all technical and commercial operations of the company. All other officers report to him, as technical focal point. He takes charge in the absence of the Managing Director. He also interacts with the technical partners and clients on technical issues.
Marketing Manager
He is focused mainly on the practical application and management of the company’s marketing operations. His primary function shall include; Conducting Market research, Developing the Company’s Marketing strategy, Customer Relationship management, Employee management, Identifying New business Opportunities.

Logistics/Transport Coordinator
Coordinates the logistics and workshop activities. He interfaces with client and technical partners/subcontractors on the effective ways of discharging field-related activities. He is responsible for the proper maintenance management of equipment and tools.
Project Supervisor
He does job supervision at both the base and in locations/site; he interacts with our clients/technical partner/sub-contractors and reports to both the Manager and MD as the case may be. He supervises Field Engineers in their various roles.
Procurement/supply Coordinator
He maintains the executive role focused on sourcing, procurement and supply management. He is responsible for the management, administration and supervision of the company’s acquisition programs. He may be in charge of the contracting services and may manage the purchase of supplies, equipment, and materials. It is his responsibility to source goods and services and to negotiate prices and contracts.
CASHES Coordinator
He is the focal point for Community Affairs Security Health Environment Safety (CASHES). He supervises site activities safely and reports directly to the MD. He is responsible for HSES training and compliance, first aid and audits.

5.1 HEALTH POLICYThe company’s policy is to preserve at all times the health of its employees and sub-contractors through high degree of personal hygiene and implementation of work procedures that are free from health risks.
Health Hazard analysis would be carried out and control measures put in place. The company retains the services of a good clinic to take care of the workers and much emphasis is placed on the promotion of the total health concept and protection of the workers.
Members of staff would be advised to stay away from excessive noise and encouraged to wear Ear defenders where noise is unavoidable. Regular medical examination would be encouraged.

5.2 SAFETY POLICY
It is the policy of ESSMARC Nig Ltd to carry out its activities in such a way that the life of all its employees and other people who may be connected with its operations are safeguarded. The company makes adequate provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adheres strictly to the safety precautions required in any area of its operation to maintain a high safety standard
The company assists and develops all her staff in Community Affairs Safety Health Environmental and Security awareness (CASHES) in accordance with the policies of ESSMARC Nig Ltd.
There is a reward in form of prizes and promotion for excellence in achieving this goal while negative attitude is frowned at. For all jobs, detailed safety procedures are written and site management held responsible for its implementation on site.
In order to ensure an enviable performance, the following strategies are put in place:
1. Hazard analysis before any job starts off, a Hazard register would also be opened.
2. System would be put in place to control accidents.3. In case of failures, there would be system to arrest the situation.4. Regular meeting would be organized for the staff on safety.5. Every meeting would be properly investigated and learning points brought
out, also every accident and its learning points would be communicated to the staff.
6. Corrective actions will always be taken to avoid re-occurrence of accidents.
7. The use of Permit-to-Work (PTW) in restricted areas would be strictly adhered to.

5.3 ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION POLICY
It is the policy of the company that the environment in which it operates is preserved to its primary condition and that jobs are being carried out in clean and neat environments. To this end, ESSMARC Nig Ltd will ensure that:
a) There is regular Environmental Sanitation Programb) Injurious chemicals are used and disposed of in compliance with National
Environmental Protection Agency Regulations.c) The release of dust and effluents during discharge/loading shall be
contained and reduced to the barest minimumd) Noise and fumes generated during operation is reduced to the barest
minimum.e) Industrial and Domestic wastes generated in the course of our operations
are adequately and safely disposed of.

5.4 SECURITY POLICY
The Company’s policy on security is that properties and assets be protected and assessment on security implications and impacts is made on continuous basis. ESSMARC Nig Ltd Must be security conscious at all times whether in the office on company business or at home.
Our Trained security personnel are on guard all the time to protect our company assets and personnel in the addition, the Nigeria Police would be hired as back-up where the need arises.
All employees will be provided with company Identity Cards and client’s I.D card as back-up. The staff will be regularly briefed on the current security risk associated with their jobs as may be applicable to the areas of our operations. This is to reduce their exposure to attacks.
All unauthorized journeys will be discouraged.

5.5 COMMUNITY RELATIONS POLICY
The company’s policy on community affairs seeks to make sure that the negative impact of operations on host communities are minimized and that community relations are improved to reduce community disruption to operations.
To achieve this, the management will ensure that:
The culture and traditions of host communities are respected State and sub-contractors are good ambassadors of ESSMARC Nig Ltd. A good number of the indigenes of the host communities would be
employed to work in their communities. Services and projects would help the communities within the capability of
ESSMAC Nig Ltd is encouraged. ESSMARC Nig Ltd would bridge the gap between her and Host
communities, by employing dialogue as a tool for resolving issues as well as appointing Community Liaison officers (CLO).

6.1 Quality Assurance Objectives & Policy
ESSMARC Nig Ltd. Quality Assurance plan and procedure is structured to meet the intent of the national and international standards and the quality assurance requirement of our clients. The plan outlines how control shall be established, implemented and maintained, together with the particular working procedure dedicated to a job. It must be noted that various procedures, inspection test plans and forms are not included in this quality assurance procedure. These will be provided during the course of a job and will be submitted in due time prior to commencement of job activities.
6.2 Quality Objectives
The main objectives of the company in quality management, is to meet customer requirements, needs and expectations.
6.3 Quality Assurance Policy
ESSMARC Nig Ltd Assurance policy is designed to trickle down from top management, and to involve trained staff at all levels.
The company must strive for the continuous improvement in all operations, and prevention of low quality output.
The method to be adopted for quality assurance is planning/awareness, and tailored on a project-by-project basis.
