DearWoman’sClubmembers,Weareatthattimeofyearwhereourcalendarsarechockfullofactivityandourholidayblousesandsweatersgetlotsofwear.ThisyearwegettoexperiencetheshortestpossibletimespanbetweenThanksgivingandChristmasso,ifyouarefeelinghurried,wellthereisagoodreasonforthat!OurSalvationArmyRedStockingsweregatheredearlybyourCharitableGivingelves–57ofthemstuffedtothebrimbyourgenerousmembers.Oursincerethanksforyourtimeandmoneydonatedtothisworthyproject.Specialgiftsforthefamiliesat

theWinterParkHousingAuthorityarebeingcollectedandfinishedupnow.ThewrappedgiftsareduebacktotheclubbyDecember5th.Ifyouwouldstillliketohelpout,pleasecontactChrisBushctbushx2@earthlink.netquicklyincasetherearestillafewunclaimeditems.WewillgathertodecoratetheRedPepperTreeintheWestMeadow(onMorsejustwestoftheRRtracks)onTuesday,Dec.3at9:30.ThankstothecrewofOrnamentElvesorganizedbyChurchillThompsonandNancyFlaherty,ourhandmadeornamentsarecleanandshinyonceagain!WewillbewalkingintheannualSantaParadeonSaturday,Dec.7th.Wehavetwobannersandwillhavethemattachedtocarryingpolesthisyear.Wewillalsohaveourredconvertibledecoratedwithplaidribbon.OurstagingareaisonWebsterAvenuenearthecornerofParkAvenueanditisgreattobethereby8:45.TheparadeendsneartheWoman’sClubsothatisagreatplacetoleaveyourcar.Theparaderouteisapproximatelyonemileandisataslowpace.Ifyouwouldliketorideintheredcarinsteadofwalking,wecandothat!OurChristmasLuncheonisalwaysanot-to-be-missedoccasionandachancetowearyourholidaytogs.PleasebesuretoRSVPandsendinachecktotheofficebyDecember5th.Youcanalsomakeyourlunchpaymentbycreditcard;justcalltheofficetodoso.Finally,ourannualholidayScholarshipeveningeventisDecember19that6:00.Weencourageallmemberstoattendifyoucan,asmanyofthisyear’srecipientswillbeinattendance.PleaseRSVPtotheofficeforheadcountpurposes,thereisnochargeforthisevent.Welookforwardtoseeingyou!

TheRubyHollandFoundationinvitesyoutoits

2ndAnnualFundraiserConcerttobeheldatourWoman’sClubofWinterPark.Youareallinvitedtosupportthisworthycause.TheRubyHollandFoundation(a501c3organization)providesscholarshipgrantstotheunder-resourcedyouthswithinourFloridacommunities.Grantsareprovidedforbothcollegeandsummercareermusicdevelopmentstudies.AllproceedsfromthiseventwillhelpwiththetuitionandboardofaverytalentedFloridastudentofthearts,Ms.VeraBaffour.
