    Latest gossip in town is that the Cow Palaces days are numbered; local developers plan to build affordable seniors complex in its place

    The venerable Warkworth Cow Palace (top) could be having a meeting with a wrecking ball in the not-too-distant future if gossip on Main Street is correct (and it usually is). According to high-placed sources interviewed by the Warkworth Journal, the Cow Palace will be torn

    down and the lot sold to retired construction magnate Arnold C. Dudley and his son Donald (right). The Dudleys, looking to cash in on Wark-worths aging population and expected affordable housing shortages, are planning to develop and build a no frills 30-unit apartment
