SOME OF OUR HAPPY PLACES...Things to keep in mind when we relate to others:Words- we don't always remember the words but we remember
how they make us feel. Be mindful of our words and how we
speak to others.
Kindness-be kind to yourself. It is easier to treat others with
kindness if we first remember to treat ourselves with compassion.
Really listen-when someone is speaking to you, stay quiet and
tune into what they are saying. Give it some thought before you
respond.
Respect-you can be understanding of someone's opinion-but that
does not mean that you have to agree. You can both agree to
disagree.
Empathy-it's not about feeling "sorry" for someone. It's the ability
to put yourself in their place and try to understand how they
might feel.
Share-we all get mad, sad, lonely and scared, etc. sometimes.
Speak to someone you trust & let them know when you are feeling
upset.
Honesty-this is the building block for all relationships. Being
honest lets others know how you really feel and also lets them
know that they can trust you.
Don't fix-sometimes friends people share their feelings so that
they can be heard and feel understood. You are not responsible for
fixing their feelings or their problems (if it is a serious problem,
encourage them to go to a trusted adult or report it to an adult).
Forgive-we are all imperfect. It is easier to forgive others if we
first remember to be forgiving of our own mistakes and
imperfections.
Apologize-take responsibility for your mistakes and let others
know that you regret what you have done.

Take Care of Yourself! Self-care is one of the most important things we take for granted and forget to do in
our daily lives. In society, our minds and bodies are always on the move. We're always
trying to get as many things done as soon as possible in order to move onto the next one.
Our brains are like that Jay-Z chorus from one of his songs repeating the words:
I'm on to the next one, On to the next
Sadly, by never giving ourselves a break, we sometimes perform poorly on certain
actions due to our bodies feeling exhausted and not mentally well rested. Furthermore,
remember to give yourself some self-care and take a mental break when needed. This can
be anything from meditating, exercising, or taking a short nap. By allowing yourself to
recuperate, it will help stabilize your performances and not breakdown.

FRIENDSHIPS:
Questions to ask yourself regarding
friendships:
How does this relationship make me
feel?
What am I getting from this
relationship?
Does this relationship bring the best (or
the worst) out of me?
You have the power to choose the people
that you allow to become your friends.
When a friendship feels bad-
A friendship may feel bad because it IS
bad/not good for you. When people
treat others badly, it's often because
they have their own problems and do
not feel good about themselves. You are
not responsible for anyone else's issues
and deserve to be treated with respect.

recuperarte, ayudará a estabilizar tus actuaciones y no a fallar.
comience a contar lentamente. Cuente 5 para inhalar y 7 para
exhalar.
L i b e r a c i ó n e m o c i o n a l .
enojado", etc.
Paso 2: ¿Cómo te afecta la emoción? "No puedo concentrarme en mi
trabajo".

Usted
