Bernalillo Museum Partners for Outdoor Exhibit Celebrating 100 Years of Women Voting
The Bernalillo Community Museum, in partnership with the Gutiérrez Hubbell House in the South Valley, is hosting an outdoor exhibit on the history of women's suffrage.
The exhibit draws from the National Portrait Gallery’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment called Votes for Women: A Portrait of Persistence (https://npg.si.edu/exhibition/votes-for-women) and is provided through the Smithsonian Institution’s Traveling Exhibit Services.
The posters will be placed around town and you’ll be invited to join a scavenger hunt to be entered into a drawing to win prizes.
