Kenzo Maison continúa su viaje imaginario descu-briendo nuevos volúmenes, materiales y colores.
KENZO Maison continues on its imaginary journey, discovering still more volumes, materials and colors.
Ever since its first collection in 1970, the KENZO fashion label has
created a veritable fireworks display of colors and textures. Kenzo
Takada, creator of the trademark and inventor of new techniques,
like his “cut knit”, was the first to present the concept of volume and freedom
of movement in haute couture. Before leaving the Maison in 1999, he inspired
the firm’s creative teams with his surprising new mixes of colors, materials
and prints, all of which transmit KENZO values: freedom, happiness and
generosity.
In 1993, KENZO joined the LVMH Group and has since shown noteworthy
development, today having achieved a network of 250 points of sale
around the world. KENZO’s designs include prêt-à-porter clothing for
women, men and children, sports clothes, fashion accessories, fine leather
products and perfumes, and, as of 2008, home decorating items, presented
under the KENZO Maison trademark.
KENZO Maison
With a debut collection in January 2008, KENZO Maison has started to
bring its unique vision to the universe of the “art of living.”
Echoing that first collection, the brand name now continues on it imaginary
journey to the heart of the exotic, always seeking strong inspirations and
discovering new volumes, materials and colors.
KENZO Maison has enriched its collection with sensitive creations that
subtly incorporate curves and straight lines combining influences whose
common denominator is the trademark’s prêt-à-porter collections for
women, with the underlying idea being strong contrasts in terms of
volume, graphics and finishes.
The arrival at the Maison in 2009 of Antonio Marras as Creative Director
for all Kenzo brands has breathed new strength and coherence into the
firm and ensured its future development.
