1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY ALL APPROPRIATE UTILITY COMPANIES BEFORE BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL HAVE ALL SERVICE LINES LOCATED AND FLAGGED PRIOR
TO EXCAVATION.
2. THE LOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES HAS BEEN PREPARED FROM THE MOST RELIABLE INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE ENGINEER. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT GUARANTEED,
THEREFORE THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES IN THE FIELD.
3. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIRING ALL UTILITY LINES AND SERVICES DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING IRRIGATION LINES, AND SERVICES. THE
APPROPRIATE UTILITY SHALL BE NOTIFIED OF ALL DAMAGED LINES PRIOR TO REPAIR. ALL NECESSARY REPAIRS SHALL BE PERFORMED IMMEDIATELY.
4. ALL DOMESTIC OR FIRE WATER LINES AND SERVICES SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH 30" OR 36" MINIMUM COVER, RESPECTIVELY FROM FINISHED GRADE, AND A MAXIMUM OF 4' COVER
EXCEPT FOR VERTICAL DEFLECTIONS AT CONFLICTS.
5. ALL PVC WATER LINES AND SERVICES 4" DIAMETER AND LARGER SHALL CONFORM WITH AWWA C-900 (DR 14). WATER SERVICES SMALLER THAN 4" DIAMETER SHALL CONFORM WITH
ASTM D-2241. ALL FITTINGS AND VALVES FOR WATER LINES AND SERVICES SHALL BE RESTRAINED. ALL PVC GRAVITY SEWER LINES SHALL BE SDR 26. SANITARY FORCE MAIN SHALL BE
ASTM D2241 SDR 21.
6. THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF IMPROVEMENT PLANS DOES NOT AUTHORIZE THE CONSTRUCTION OF REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS WHICH ARE INCONSISTENT WITH EXISTING
EASEMENTS OF RECORD.

11. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE 48 HOURS NOTICE TO THE ENGINEER AND THE COUNTY PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES WHEN APPLICABLE. NOTICES SHALL

BE MADE AT CONTRACTORS EXPENSE. COSTS OF CORRECTIONS TO D.O. AND OTHER JURISDICTIONAL AGENCIES PLAN SETS AND RELATED EXHIBITS
SHALL BE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CONTRACTOR.
