Antihistamine Works to reduce the amount of natural histamine
that accumulates in the body– Blocks histamine from binding to histamine receptors
Its principal effects are mediated via selective inhibition of peripheral H1 receptors
In vivo and ex vivo animal models have shown negligible anticholinergic and antiseratonergic activity

Uses
