When will you have access to the Queen's Zoom account?

All faculty, sta , and students can now activate their Queen's Zoom user pro le.

Faculty, sta , and graduate students will automatically be provisioned with a Queen'spremium license after activating their user pro le (see instructions below).Undergraduate students will automatically be provisioned with a Queen's standardlicense after activating their user pro le.Student sta and undergraduate student orientation leaders who have a need for apremium license, can request through the Queen's Zoom Premium Request Form forStudents (authentication required). Before submitting your request, you must activate

your Queen's Zoom user pro le using the instructions provided below (subject to licenseavailability and need).

Important: Do you have a personal Zoom (free) or Zoom Pro account associated

with your Queen’s email address?

Pro account If you are an existing Zoom Pro account owner and would like to move to the Queen'sZoom account, we are still accepting account migration requests.  Do not proceed withthe activating your Queen's Zoom user pro le described in the following section.  Refer toI am existing Zoom Pro account owner, can I move to the Queen's Enterprise account? forinformation on how to migrate to the Queen's account.

Free account If you currently have a personal Zoom (free) account associated with your Queen’s emailaddress alias (e.g. [email protected]) and would like to move your account tothe Queen’s Zoom account, please update the email address of your personal Zoom (free)account to the format of [email protected] prior to proceeding. Refer to How do Ichange the email address of my Zoom user account? for instructions.

1. In a web browser, go to https://queensu.zoom.us and click Sign in.

2. You will be directed to the Single Sign-on page. Enter your [email protected] email addressand click Next.

3. Enter your NetID password and click Sign in.

4. Select Yes or No when prompted to Stay signed in?

5. Where you are directed after sign-in will depend on whether you are a) a new user who iseligible to join the Queen's Zoom account or b) have an existing personal Zoom(free) account associated with your Queen’s [email protected] email address.

a. If you do not currently have a personal Zoom (free) account associated with your Queen’[email protected] email address and are eligible to join the Queen's Zoom account, thenyou will then be directed to your Zoom Pro le.

Note:  if you are not eligible to join the Queen's Zoom account, then you will receive anerror "Something went wrong while you tried signing with SSO".  If you have received thiserror message and are eligible, please email [email protected]

Please proceed to Step 6.  

b. If you have a personal Zoom (free) account associated with your Queen’[email protected] email address, then you will be prompted to con rm your emailaddress and will need to complete some additional steps. Click Con rm your email

address to proceed.

An email will then be sent from Zoom <[email protected]> to your Queen's email accountrequesting that you Con rm the requested change to your Zoom account.

You will need to open the email and click Switch to the new account within 24 hours.

To switch to the Queen’s Zoom account, you will need to click I Acknowledge and Switch.

The page will update with a message that Your account has been switched

successfully. Click Sign In to Pro le Page to complete the activation process.

Please proceed to Step 6.

6. Set your time zone. From your Zoom pro le page, click the edit link in the Date and Time section.

Select your Time Zone from the drop-down list and click Save Changes.

7. You have now completed the activation of your Queen's Zoom user pro le.8. If you use the Zoom desktop client, you will need to sign out and then sign back in (refer to:
