The MICROFLAME Gas Generator

An extremely safe, reliable and cost effective way of producing a high temperature flame. It meets all EEC safety andquality standards. The machine produces an Oxygen/Hydrogen gas, the characteristics of which can then be altered bypassing it through a Booster unit. The Booster unit is filled with a solution e.g. Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone which changes thecalorific value and temperature of the gas flame to suit your particular application. The flame size is also easily adjustedthrough a range of simply fitting torch tips.All machines are portable and completely self contained, there are NO gas bottles required in its operation neither is gasstored in the machine, thus, making it very safe to use. Using Electrolysis of water, gas is produced only when required.The machine requires an electrical supply, distilled water and the solution used in the Booster unit. Larger machineshave the facility for multi-operator use.

Special Features

The MICROFLAME Gas Generator is protected by an overpressure control linked into an electrical circuit breaker, suchthat, in the unlikely event of an overpressure condition arising the machine switches off and locks off automatically.

Gas Booster

The Gas Booster Unit has a dual function. Firstly, it provides the facility to change the flame characteristics (as previouslydescribed). Secondly, providing the solution level in the Booster is maintained above the specified minimum level; then italso acts as a safety trap in the unlikely event of a blow-back situation occurring, thus preventing damage to the machine.A blow-back arrester is fitted into the torch as a safeguard to the operator and also to prevent damage to the equipment.Indicator lights show the operating state of the machine and an overpressure condition if it should arise.
