Overview Zara is a Transformation Manager with the Litmus Group. She is recognised as an commercially orientated operating model and change management leader. She is an expert in assisting organisations transform and adapt to IT modernisation and outsourcing. She has experience across a range of industries including utilities, financial services and mining. Her background in complex project, future-state process development and transformation expertise allow her to work together with clients to develop a sustainable and competitive business model in complex operating environment. Zara also has a strong focus on operating model transformation, product management, strategic sourcing and workforce design in a global context.
Recent assignments
• Zara has led a Product Portfolio across five brands in the financial services sector
during the Global Financial Crisis. This involved Business and Wealth deposit
products and the product management included development of pricing strategy
including campaigns, discretions and retention being critical. The role required
intensive collaboration with channel and segment owners.
• Zara has worked as a lead consultant with one of Australia’s leading energy providers
to design a transformation on its IT operating model to improve the alignment of the
workforce to the strategy and deliver innovation. Additionally, Zara worked on the
development and alignment of IT processes to COBIT, realigned functional
accountabilities on an entirely new organisational design and SFIA-based role
definitions. She also managed the assessment process of the current staff to the
future IT competencies.
• Zara has led the Change and Communications stream for the integration of three
businesses into two following acquisitions in a multinational property and
infrastructure company. This involved a culture assessment, change readiness
assessment, impact assessment, channel assessment and development of a new
portal, communications planning and execution for Day One.
• Zara has worked as lead consultant for New Zealand’s electricity network provider to
define a sourcing strategy for technology services across multiple the country. She
facilitated a baseline of current costs, benchmarking of those against similar
organisations and a few of the strategic requirements based on complexity of the
operating environment and the needs and requirements of the operations.
• As a Strategic Sourcing advisor, Zara worked with an telecommunications company in
a major transformation of IT Operating Model. She facilitated the sign off of the
baseline of workforce data in a complex sourcing arrangement across 5 Countries and
over 15 Locations. This also involved classification of assets to understand the nature
of use which then informed the appropriate operating model.
