Youtube• We have uploaded our finished music video

onto youtube.com which is a video streaming website.

• With this website, we were able to gather quantitative data about the audience of our music video and analyse it to see whether our product was successful or not.

Our Initial Target Audience

• Our planned target audience were both male and female ranging between teenagers (17-18) and older generation (50-60) due to the genre mixing jazz and electronic music.

• From the graph, we were able to see that the product successfully attract our target audience, as 38% of all views are teenagers (18-24) which correlates well to our target audience set prior to the release of our music video.

Analysing Result 2• This second graph shows that 54% of the

views were watched on computer devices and 41% were on mobile phones, showing the majority of all views were watched through these two devices.

• The 41% mobile phone views shows that our product attracts the newer generation through synergy; a result of advancing technology.

Analysing Result 3• 64% from the UK which is not surprising as our school is

based in the UK and most of our friends who watched the video are included in this figure.

• However, views from USA, Canada and Switzerland shows that our product has reached a global level of audience, which was possible through the online age.

• 68% male & 32% female shows that our initial target audience were not completely off, as we expected to see around 50% views from both gender.

• The majority of traffic sources and playback locations are via youtube.com which isn't surprising as it is the only streaming platform for our video.

• Average view duration of 0.53 minute is quite disappointing as the full length of our music video is over 3 minutes.

• The video itself however has over 3000 views which is the highest in this year’s music video in our school.

Analysing Result 5• The graph shows that our music video gained

the most views (350-2800 views) from 15-17th of December since it was uploaded.

• This means that over 3 days, our music video was able to reach a wide range of audiences in which could reflect on how our music video may be appealing to newer audiences, as the concept of our music video is very different than other stereotypes of a pop-music video.
