YOURQUOTE OPEN MIC PROCESS

•  Process to host YQ Open Mic: •  We operate like TEDx. •  You form a team of 4 & a few volunteers: •  1 Curator: who finalizes the venue, creates the event & spreads words •  1 Cameraperson: to record high-quality video. •  1 Editor: to work on post-processing & sharing with us. •  1 Marketing Lead: to raise sponsorships & forging brand alliances

•  Create an FB event & a Google form that urges people to fill. •  We will promote the event on app. •  We need at least 20 writers to be speaking — 5 minutes each •  Recitation: 1 published on YQ, 1 unpublished •  Send videos to us. We publish on our YouTube channel.

ZERO BUDGETING

•  Ethos: Zero-budget Open Mics •  How to make it zero budget? •  Restaurant/auditorium zero budget tie-up •  Our events foster sales and publicity of the restaurant •  They can give special discounts to participants.

•  Camera & Editing •  Use your own equipment. •  Engage in a promotional tie-up with a photographer.

•  Raise sponsorship from Brands •  Loop us in as you raise a minimal amount (~20k) to cover basic

cost.

WHAT YOU GET

•  Nothing but the experience & learning.

•  You make 20 people shed their stage fright and share their works

for the first time!

•  We don’t make money from Open Mics. We don’t offer any

either. It is to encourage the spirit of writing among the masses.

•  We’ll be happy to give you certificates for positions you hold.
