UNITED WAY ENDOWMENT FUNDS GIFTSMany people make gifts that benefit the longer-term needs of United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties by donating to a United Way affiliated endowment. Donations made to the United Way and designated to one of our Community Foundation of Johnson County endowment funds, may be eligible for the 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit. There are four funds held at the Community Foundation of Johnson County with which the United Way is affiliated:

ENTREPRENEURIAL FUNDUnited Way grants that support innovative approaches to solving community priorities and emerging issues.
HEALTHY KIDS ENDOWMENT FUNDTo generate sustainable funding for school-based health clinics. United Way has provided annual operating support for the Healthy Kids clinics since 2006 and works with the Healthy Kids partners to raise funds for the endowment.
SUMMERSHIP ENDOWMENT FUNDSummerships is a joint project of the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties and the Community Foundation of Johnson County to build an endowment to help more kids in our community have access to high quality, enriching out of school programs. Summerships annually provides camp scholarships for up to $250 each for 84 kids who otherwise could not afford to go to camp.

The 2020 Vision continues to give strategic direction to the community, but there is still work to do. The Community Assessment Report commissioned by United Way documented some significant changes in our community over the last five years. Our community is becoming more diverse and the population of residents 65 years and older is growing. A higher percentage of children are living in poverty and a greater number of working families are walking a financial tight rope.
Working together with business leaders, nonprofit agencies, public entities and individual donors and volunteers like you, United Way will help people in immediate need and facilitate community solutions to reduce these needs in the future.

UNITED WAY ENDOWMENT FUNDS GIFTSMany people make gifts that benefit the longer-term needs of United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties by donating to a United Way affiliated endowment. Donations made to the United Way and designated to one of our Community Foundation of Johnson County endowment funds, may be eligible for the 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit. There are four funds held at the Community Foundation of Johnson County with which the United Way is affiliated:
ENDOWMENT FUNDTo build the sustainable future for United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties.
ENTREPRENEURIAL FUNDUnited Way grants that support innovative approaches to solving community priorities and emerging issues.
HEALTHY KIDS ENDOWMENT FUNDTo generate sustainable funding for school-based health clinics. United Way has provided annual operating support for the Healthy Kids clinics since 2006 and works with the Healthy Kids partners to raise funds for the endowment.
SUMMERSHIP ENDOWMENT FUNDSummerships is a joint project of the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties and the Community Foundation of Johnson County to build an endowment to help more kids in our community have access to high quality, enriching out of school programs. Summerships annually provides camp scholarships for up to $250 each for 84 kids who otherwise could not afford to go to camp.

UNITED WAY ENDOWMENT FUNDS GIFTSMany people make gifts that benefit the longer-term needs of United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties by donating to a United Way affiliated endowment. Donations made to the United Way and designated to one of our Community Foundation of Johnson County endowment funds, may be eligible for the 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit. There are four funds held at the Community Foundation of Johnson County with which the United Way is affiliated:
ENDOWMENT FUNDTo build the sustainable future for United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties.
ENTREPRENEURIAL FUNDUnited Way grants that support innovative approaches to solving community priorities and emerging issues.
HEALTHY KIDS ENDOWMENT FUNDTo generate sustainable funding for school-based health clinics. United Way has provided annual operating support for the Healthy Kids clinics since 2006 and works with the Healthy Kids partners to raise funds for the endowment.
SUMMERSHIP ENDOWMENT FUNDSummerships is a joint project of the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties and the Community Foundation of Johnson County to build an endowment to help more kids in our community have access to high quality, enriching out of school programs. Summerships annually provides camp scholarships for up to $250 each for 84 kids who otherwise could not afford to go to camp.

UNITED WAY ENDOWMENT FUNDS GIFTSMany people make gifts that benefit the longer-term needs of United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties by donating to a United Way affiliated endowment. Donations made to the United Way and designated to one of our Community Foundation of Johnson County endowment funds, may be eligible for the 25% Endow Iowa Tax Credit. There are four funds held at the Community Foundation of Johnson County with which the United Way is affiliated:
ENDOWMENT FUNDTo build the sustainable future for United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties.
ENTREPRENEURIAL FUNDUnited Way grants that support innovative approaches to solving community priorities and emerging issues.
HEALTHY KIDS ENDOWMENT FUNDTo generate sustainable funding for school-based health clinics. United Way has provided annual operating support for the Healthy Kids clinics since 2006 and works with the Healthy Kids partners to raise funds for the endowment.
SUMMERSHIP ENDOWMENT FUNDSummerships is a joint project of the United Way of Johnson & Washington Counties and the Community Foundation of Johnson County to build an endowment to help more kids in our community have access to high quality, enriching out of school programs. Summerships annually provides camp scholarships for up to $250 each for 84 kids who otherwise could not afford to go to camp.
