What is paradigm shift
Paradigm shift (or revolutionaryscience) is the term first coined
by Thomas Kuhn in his
influential book The Structure ofScientific Revolutions (1962) todescribe a change in basicassumptions within the ruling
theory of science. It is incontrast to his idea of normal
science.
