OUR MISSION is to enrich the cultural life in and beyond the Inland Empire, to foster and to promote the study, ap- preciation and understanding of art through exhib- its, education and publications. Autumn, 2015 Year End Giving As the holidays approach quickly each year, we feel the urge to give as well as enjoy time with family and friends. During this time we want to remind you that the Inland Empire Museum of Art exists solely because of your donated art, time and money. We are working hard to secure a building to house the museum, and as we move forward to opening next year, we need to raise money to cover operating costs. One exciting part of the mu- seum is our existing docent-led program Art4Kids, which we are expanding to include tours, art making activities and meet- the-artist sessions. Because funding cuts in public schools have created a void between chil- dren and self expres- sion through art, one of our purposes for founding IEMA was to fill that void. We want to expose kids to art in two ways - by seeing work done by contemporary Inland Empire artists, and by conducting hands on art workshops. We are partnering with Give Big San Bernardi- no 24-hour online fund-raiser to be held on Tues- day, December 1, 2015, from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. Our participation is being called “Give Big 2 Art 4 Kids”. December 1st is also “Giving Tuesday”, a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Fri- day and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holi- day and end-of-year giving. Please won’t you make a tax deductible donation, and take the opportunity to be personally in- volved in the progress of opening our doors. Our community needs a museum that has free access to art for all ages. To make a donation go to www. iearts.org and click on the donate button. Or use the included enve- lope we have included if you prefer to donate with a personal check. Please spread the word today on Facebook and Twitter, #GiveBig- 2art4kids. Donate on www.iearts.org/art4kids.htm Because of you, a legacy is being built in the Inland Empire that will impact our community for generations to come.

Year End Giving As the holidays approach quickly each year, we feel the urge to give as well as enjoy time with family and friends. During this time we want to remind you that the Inland Empire Museum of Art exists solely because of your donated art, time and money. We are working hard to secure a building to house the museum, and as we move forward to opening next year, we need to raise money to cover operating costs.

One exciting part of the mu-seum is our existing docent-led program Art4Kids, which we are expanding to include tours, art making activities and meet-the-artist sessions. Because funding cuts in public schools have created a void between chil-dren and self expres-sion through art, one of our purposes for founding IEMA was to fill that void. We want to expose kids to art in two ways - by seeing work done by contemporary Inland Empire artists, and by conducting hands on art workshops.
