What does it take to design the Yachts of
the Future ?
Collaboration. The ‘lone creative genius’ is being replaced with interdisciplinary collaborators.
Empathy. A ‘people first’ approach creates inherently desirable solutions knowledge of yachting becomes paramount
Experimentalism. Designers need to ask questions and overcome constraints.
Integrative thinking. Designers need analytical skills to create solutions that go beyond simple use and improve existing designs.
Optimism. Potential solutions are better than existing ones.
