As always Term 4 will be a busy and hectic term as we approach the end of the year with assessments, end of year activities including Year 6 Farewell and Presentation Day as well as the Wyee Round Up of Course! Staffing News 5/6B - Last week we received the news that Mr Brown had secured another job outside of teaching, and therefore will not be teaching 5/6B for the remainder of the year. We wish Mr Brown all the best on his exciting new adventures and welcome Mrs Sue whom we are sure will fit in perfectly to our school. 1W, LAST and AP - As I am sure you would be aware, Mrs Wade will be leaving us soon to go on maternity leave. Miss Emily OBrien will be taking over 1W in Mrs Wades absence. For the first 3 weeks of term, Miss OBrien will be teaching 1W Monday-Wednesday and Mrs Wade will have 1W on Thursday and Friday. Mrs Wades last day will be Friday 2 nd November and Miss OBrien will then teach 1W 5 days per week for the remainder of the year. In her absence, Mrs Kavanagh will step up to be the SAM and Mrs Sharp will return to the office in the role of SAO. Alison Brigden will be replacing Mrs Sharp as the SLSO in the classrooms. Fete Our school fete, the Wyee Round Up, is fast approaching! Over the coming weeks there will be many calls for help. We are hoping the whole school community will be able to pitch in in some way to ensure the smooth running of this wonderful event. Ways to help will range from donating cakes/slices for the cake stall to volunteering for a shift on the day to run a class stall or activity or clean up at the end of the day. Please keep your eyes open for further information. The more people that help, the easier it will be for everyone! Tickets are on sale now for unlimited ride wristbands, these can be purchased from the front office. Class Dojo Congratulations to the Term 3 Dojo winners! K-2 Tocal Excursion K-2 students enjoyed learning about life in the 1800s as they explored Tocal Homestead last term. Students participated in many different activities including: old fashioned games (knuckles, skipping, bamboo hoops and marbles), visiting the main house and blacksmiths, finding out how food was prepared without electricity, carrying water in buckets on a yoke, washing clothes on a washboard, dressing up in old fashioned clothes and sketching.

A huge thank you to parents who volunteered their time to assist us on the day.

Reward Day Term 3 Congratulations to all students who achieved 120 Dojo points in Term 3. These students were rewarded with a session of fun activities including: coding, guided drawing, dancing, colouring, a movie, board games, pom pom making, computers, playdough and iPads.
