Mepham’s Senior Service Learning Project

Est. 2009

- Created to provide the seniors of Mepham High School the opportunity to make a difference within their community and the world.

- To date, over $42,000 has been raised for organizations like Make a Wish, Autism Speaks, Wounded Warrior Project and the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a

volunteer-driven charity committed to

funding the most promising research to

find cures for childhood cancers and give

survivors long and healthy lives.

• At Mepham’s first two Chop Your Lock’s for Charity Events a total of $90,000 was made for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

• The class of 2013 is looking to make this event the most successful yet.

Chop Your Locks 2013

• Over 300 members of the Mepham community have registered for our event.

• Over 100 students and staff have registered to shave their head and 20 to donate their hair.

• Registration is still possible by visiting our site on the Mepham webpage.

Our students and staff have already raised over $15,000 in just a few short weeks.

The goal of the class of 2013 is to raise at least $50,000 this semester for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Chop Your Locks will take place on March 20, 2013 from 6pm – 9pm in the South Gym.

Music, food, raffles, a kid zone, and much more

Please join us that night to assist our seniors in being the change they wish to see in the

world.
