(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) ORDER 2015

NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend not less than seven daysfrom the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic RegulationAct 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The proposed Order is necessary so that work can be carried out within the narrowcarriageway to construct vehicle passing bays and install new highway drainage.The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exempted

vehicles, from proceeding along that section of the class III (C3087) road near St Catherine’sBridge, from its junction with the A40(T) north west to its junction with Sheltery Hill.The alternative route for traffic will be via the A40(T), Fishguard Road, Sydney Rees Way, A487

Old Bridge relief road, B4330 and Sheltery Hill (C3087).It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect onMonday 30th March 2015, and remain in force for a duration of approximately 4 weeks.Pedestrian access will be maintained together with vehicular access to property located either

side of the works area.The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingency should theworks need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

Parking Passport Permit – A weekly permit, purchased in advance. This will be a transferable permit which willallow parking in Council car parks, with some short stay car parks excluded. This is a flexible permit which will allow the purchaser theflexibility to purchase a single permit for multiple car parks, predominantly for visitors.

Full details of the proposals are contained in the draft Order which together with plans showing the parking places affected and copies of the PembrokeshireCounty Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2011, the five Variation Orders No’s.1, 2, 3 4 and 4A and a copy of the 4 Notice of Variations(No’s. 1, 2, 3, and 4) together with a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected at County Hall, Haverfordwest, theCouncil’s Customer Service Centres located in Fishguard and Pembroke Dock; Post Offices in Crymych, Pembroke and St Dogmaels and Pembroke Town Hallduring normal opening hours.

Any objections relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. All such writtenobjections should be sent to the undersigned at the address provided by the 1st day of April 2015.
