NOTICE is hereby given that Pembrokeshire County Council intend not less than seven daysfrom the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic RegulationAct 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.The proposed Order is necessary so that electricity cabling works can be carried out in the

narrow carriageway.The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicular traffic, other than exemptedvehicles, from proceeding along that section of City Road, Haverfordwest, from its junction

with Highlands Avenue, east to its junction with Perrots Road.The alternative route for traffic will be via Perrots Road, Thomas Parry Way (A487), St DavidsRoad and City Road.It is intended that the restrictions, which will be signed accordingly, will come into effect on

Thursday 29th January 2015, and remain in fo rce for a duration of approximately 3 weeks.Pedestrian access will be maintained together with vehicular access to property located eitherside of the works area.

The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months as a contingency should theworks need to be rescheduled or in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
