Will Thomas is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. He grew up there and graduated from the Greenspun School of Journalism at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Will has worked as a cinematog-rapher for over 13 years and has worked in the poker industry for over 5 years shooting hundreds of poker tournaments around the world for the biggest companies in the industry. He has covered The World Series of Poker, Latin American Poker Tour, European Poker Tour, World Poker Tour, and currently WPTDeepStacks. Outside of poker Will works on commercials and independent films in Los Angeles.

Drew AmatoPhotographer/Blogger

Born and raised in Connecticut, Drew Amato got introduced to poker a few years ago playing locally at his two home casinos. His love for the game combined with his passion for photography developed into a position with WPTDeepStacks team. Drew’s work has previously focused on the WSOP and a few east coast casinos, but this year he will be on the road with the WPTDS. Drew will be providing you tournament coverage from a number of events along with photos and live updates. Outside of poker, Drew spends his time on the road shooting photos.

Jeanine DeebTour Director

Jeanine Deeb is the Tour Director for WPTDeepStacks and over-sees all company live event productions, media content, sideline reporting, casino & player relations as well as the management of the WPTDS Media Team. She has over 10 years of experience in both the gaming and entertainment industries. When she is not busy working, you can find her in the mountains snowboarding or snowmobiling.

Tristan “Cre8ive” WadeDirector of Poker Operations

Tristan is WPTDeepStacks’s Director of Poker Operations and oversees the tour’s tournament and live event product offerings. He is responsible for the creation, organization and integration of series schedules and structures at all WPTDS stops. Tristan is also a WSOP and WSOPC champion who brings an unmatched level of knowledge and experience to the company and brand as a whole.

WPTDS SEASON 1 PLAYER OF THE YEARRyan Smith had a very successful run starting in Edmonton, Canada. He was crowned the Champion in the $1,500 NL Main Event at Casino Yellowhead after defeating Josh Steeper for the title, earning himself over $79,000. He then made his way west to Ocean’s Eleven Casino in California for the last WPTDeepStacks stop of the season. He was 4th on the POY list with Fraser Short first on the lea-derboard. Fraser Short was unable to attend the last series being only 20 years old. Second on the leaderboard was Jonathan Sanborn, who made his way to San Diego hunting for the Player of the Year title. After elimination before the money, Ryan Smith was climbing the leaderboard. Finishing 44th in the $1,100 Main event surpassing Sanborn and Short, gaining the title with 101.72 points.

As a reward, Ryan will receive a seat into the 2015 WPT© World Champion-ship as well as a 2015 WPTDeepStacks Sponsorship package including: A $5,000 package that can be used towards WPTDeepStacks buy-ins, hotel & airfare accommodations, a spotlight feature on WPTDeepStacks.com and offi-cial WPTDeepStacks gear.
