1. Obtain the local timing of the compared cities2. Convert them to the GMT/UTC3. Obtain East (+) or West(-) timingsAnd if:A. Both cities are (+)i.e. ahead of GMT

Or both the cities or behind(-) of GMT,Deduct the small from the larger

B. If one is ahead(+) and the other is behind of GMT(-),Add both figure together
