• You will need both a Universal Jobmatch account and a Government Gateway account to use this service

• 1.5 million jobseekers already have a Universal Jobmatch account.

Universal Jobmatch – the benefits

• Universal Jobmatch is easy to use, it’s secure and will speed up your recruitment process

• It automatically matches jobseeker CVs to the jobs you post online

• You can see how well a jobseeker matches your job ranked by ‘best match’ first

• You can test the labour market before you advertisea job

• You can upload a number of jobs in one go.

• Work experience - helping young people gain insight into the world of work

• Enterprise Clubs - a way of encouraging people who are out of work to exchange skills, share experience, and work through their business ideas;

Work Experience Placement opportunities

•A lack of understanding of the working world may be a significant barrier to finding and sustaining employment •We want to work with you to offer young, unemployed people the opportunity to overcome this barrier through 2 – 8 weeks work experience•For those who lack work experience, the chance to undertake real work and adjust to the routines and habits of working life can significantly improve their employment prospects

Sector based work academies

• Combining sector-specific training with a work experience placement and a guaranteed job interview

• Targeted at customers close to the labour market to help them find work

• Lasting for a maximum of six weeks, with the individual remaining on benefit and receiving additional support with travel and childcare
