Over 200 highly-experienced and talented Air Energi employees are based here, supporting personnel across UK, Europe and Africa on some of the biggest oil and gas projects in the world. As well as our outstanding UK recruitment team, we also have opportunities to join our global IT, HR, Finance and Business Development teams too.

After four years of working in the UK and a further 10 months setting up the Canadian oil and gas arm of my previous company, I wanted to step back from management and work for an organisation with a flatter organisational structure so I could get on with achieving placements together with the relevant rewards, which is what I was offered at Air Energi.

I enjoy the fact that I have the autonomy to run the desk that I have set up how I want. I love that my role is very busy and I am currently averaging a placement a week as well as being responsible for the development of new clients for the office. We have an open door policy with our senior management which I like and if I need something there is an instant answer. Our principal office in Canada is in Calgary, Alberta. Minutes away from Banff National Park offering a full year round outdoor life experience, we are located in the Downtown hub with most of our clients within walking distance.

We have a very motivated and committed team who have grown the business to over 200 consultants working with our clients, on some of the toughest projects that the Tar Sands bring.

Two years ago, we expanded by opening an office in St. Johns, Newfoundland to cover the Eastern Seaboard projects. This team has seen our client base grow and diversify and provides a great link through to our Calgary operation.

Our main USA office is in Houston, the oil and gas capital of the world. Located in the Westchase district, we are ideally located to reach all of our clients. Houston is home to a team of 40, many of whom have been part of the Air Energi family for several years. The 4th largest city in the USA, Houston offers first class dining, nightlife, the Arts and a complete range of professional sports teams.

Air Energi USA recently expanded by opening an office in New Orleans, primarily covering the Shell opportunities. With regards to the Shale market, Air Energi has opened offices in both Midland and Denver, both staffed by local in market experts.

When I decided to relocate to Houston, I had two companies in mind due to their profile in the UK market place & experience of industry friends. As I was relocating my family from the UK to the US I needed to be completely secure that the position and organisation would be what I needed before committing. Now three months in the position, I have made the right decision. From a role perspective, I am working in a vertical for the first time in 10 yrs in recruitment.
