Winning AI Eurovision 2020

Team Australia - Uncanny Valley, made up of songwriters, academics and a world class music producer, won the 2020 AI Eurovision Song Contest.

Our winning song ‘Beautiful the World’ was created from a dataset of melodies and lyrics from over 200 top Eurovision songs.

The IP (the musical copyright) in the song was attributed to the team as individual humans but we were unable to legally register the unique AI system as a contributor.
