Wild Horse Bio:

Wild Horse began with its roots in American Blues, but grew to something

more powerful. The humble beginnings of

Wild Horse started with covers of Freddie King, Cream, and Stevie Ray

Vaughan. Now they have grown to a variety of rock and blues covers, along

with organic original material.

The music of Wild Horse ranges from powerful riffs mimicking turn-of-the-century steam trains, to Texas shuffles, to tight funk grooves. Every song tells a story, and audiences of all ages find themselves tapping their feet and relating to some of the stories. The original music on their newest release, The Manhattan Project, finds its own niche in the rock-blues genre. In addition, their live covers comprise of some of the most timeless music of that same genre. There is surely something for anyone that wants to bob their head, or shuffle and boogie the night away. The group is composed of Ryan & Dale Barclay, a son-father duo on vocals and lead guitars. The rhythm section is former Army Band bassist, Mike Kaufman, as well as former drummer for Nate Myers & the Aces, Mike Noll. Despite previous incarnations since 2009, Wild Horse is now at their strongest.
