Academic System and Teaching Methodology – At a Glance Our Academic System and Teaching Methodology are scientific and highly systematic which raises the academic levels of the students systematically to ensure success. Daily Practice Problem Sheets

Students are given 8-10 questions in every class to monitor day by day progress. As these questions clarify even the slightest of doubts, thus student become conceptually very sound.

Exercise Sheets

Exercise Sheets based on latest pattern of examination are provided for each topic. These exercise sheets gives rigorous practice to complete a particular topic in all respect.

Periodic Test Series & Feed back

Periodic test series increases speed, accuracy and develop skills to translate knowledge into performance. Computerized detailed performance analysis through a2zfeedback technology is provided to each student for personalized and relative feedback.

Minor Tests: These tests are unit-wise tests to test the knowledge gained in specific units by the students as per the curriculum

Major Tests: After three or four minor tests there are major tests to cover number of units so as to maintain the rhythm of the students and avoid backlog of revision

Board Pattern Tests: Board pattern tests are also conducted to take care of board preparation for class XII students. Career Point is conducting board pattern tests since 1997.

Revision Tests: After completion of the syllabus two types of revision tests are conducted. Part syllabus tests and full syllabus test

• Part Syllabus Test: Topics are divided into 3 to 4 units to revise the syllabus effectively.

• Full Syllabus Test: Full syllabus tests are conducted to enhance the exam taking skills of the students and to convert their knowledge into success.

T-20 Series: Special test series conducted for extra-meritorious students of 20 challenging questions in each subject to be solved in stipulated time.

Rank Fixer: Conducted for meritorious students on the basis of their cumulative performance who performed well during minors and majors throughout the session.

Dual Advantage (Board + Competitive Exam Preparation):Competitive examinations + Board Preparation (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Science Practical) [Career Point management is running a renowned 10+2 CBSE school in Kota for last 10 years which help us to understand academic planning of a student so as to provide ample time to him for self-study]

Motivational and Academic Seminar Regular motivational and academic seminars are part of Career Point’s course curriculum. The academic team jointly with student welfare cell conducts these sessions. Academic seminars focused on various issues related to preparation cycle for competitive examinations, study skills, smart hard work, logical thinking, test paper attempting strategy and confidence building. Students are motivated to achieve their goal through audio-visual clippings and various inspirational examples.

Career Point Gurukul - Introduction [Residential Coaching Campus & School]

Career Point, the legendary education group has taken the initiative to make the entire coaching more effective, interactive, efficient and stress free in safe and secure environment through the residential coaching campus “Career Point Gurukul”. 3. Rules& Regulation for USSP:

a. Student eligible for Unique Study Support Program (CP-USSP) is required to produce the supporting documents in original at our admission office at the time of the admission/reporting.

b. Hostel will be allotted to student on first come first serve basis subjected to availability of seats. As there are limited seats in Priority Hostel hence students are suggested to take admission as early as possible.

c. Hostel accommodation will be provided under Unique Study Support Program. Student has to pay for food, electricity consumption etc. d. Before 7thday of each month student performance in internal tests will be reviewed. For this student has to fill performance review form

available at student welfare desk. Based on performance, hostel fee rebate will be extended for subsequent month as per the table given above.

e. If student performance falls below what mentioned in above table in a particular month then he would not get any rebate in hostel fee for that month. However in subsequent month he/she may get rebate again if he/she performs as per the above table.

f. If student remain absent in any internal exam under medical reasons then he/she has to take approval from Student Welfare Department in written.

g. In case the student is irregular or his/her performance falls below expectation then Career Point will withdraw Unique Study Support & student has to pay full hostel fee / may be asked to vacate the hostel.

h. Student has to maintain strict discipline in institute and hostel. He/she is not allowed to move unnecessary in the corridor of hostel and will not create any disturbance to other students.

i. Students are not allowed to take their friends/batch mates in their rooms or inside hostel premises without prior permission from the concerned wardens. They are also not permitted to visit market / any other place after 7 PM. They are however permitted to visit Career Point if they are having classes if any.

j. Student has to follow all rules and regulation of Hostel & Institution. In case of default, Unique Study Support will be withdrawn and student may be asked to vacate hostel.

General Information 1. The Identity Card & Digital Attendance Card

1.1. At the time of admission student will be provided a temporary ID Card to attend the classes until s/he gets the permanent ID Card.

1.2. Student has to return temporary ID Card when s/he receives the “permanent ID Card + Digital Attendance Card”. On the loss of Temporary ID card Rs 100/- will be charged as fine.

1.3. Permanent Identity card & digital attendance card with batch and registration number will be issued to each admitted student.

1.4. Every student must produce his/her I-card while entering into the Institute premises.

1.5. Student without I-card will not be allowed to attend the classes. Fine of Rs.50/- per day will be charged from the student who forgets to bring his/her I-card on a particular day.

1.6. Duplicate I-card will be issued on cash payment of fine of Rs.300/- in case if a student loses I-card/Digital Attendance Card.

2. Admission Kit

After admission, student can collect admission kit from Admission Kit distribution counter. This kit consists of first set of study material, various academic circulars, class time table & periodic test series schedule along with Institute Bag. All these are provided to student by institute at free of cost.

3. Uniform 3.1. To avoid social-economy difference and to eliminate disciplinary problems associated with street cloths and open dress code, CP has its

uniform policy for students.

3.2. Student has a choice to select between Shirt/T-Shirt for boys and Salwar-Suit/T-Shirt for girls.

3.3. Uniform will be made available to the student at a very nominal cost (Rs 250/-) per item.

3.4. Please note that uniform is compulsory. Student not wearing uniform will not be allowed to enter the Institute premises.

4. SMS Alert Service

4.1. We send information like Test Results, Attendance, Various Notices, and Examination Alert etc at free of cost to our students and their parents through SMS. To receive these information please fill mobile numbers clearly in the application form.

If admission is given on the basis of entrance test then the procedure will be as follows –

1. The first step to appear for CP Entrance Test is to fill and submit the application form.

2. You may apply online at our website OR on prescribed application form (can be obtained from office in person or by post OR from authorized form sellers in different cities OR By VPP (Home Delivery) – list given on last page)

3. Appear for the CP Entrance Test at the allotted test centre and qualify it to become eligible for getting admission to Career Point.

4. After qualifying the CP entrance test, deposit the course fee as explained in fee chart and Fee Deposition procedure.

5. For other related information regarding the CP Entrance test, see the guidelines given on the pages to follow.

6. Students appearing for entrance tests are advised to appear in the test with complete preparation. Please note that we do not entertain any kind of recommendation/request.

Direct admission on first come first serve basis is also given to various courses subject to availability of seats. Procedure for this is described below –

1. Please confirm your eligibility for direct admission from our office.

2. Make sure from the admission office that admission to the desired course is open. Because direct admissions are given on “First Come First Serve Basis”, subject to availability of seats. Therefore as soon as the seats are completely filled, the admission to the course will be closed.

3. After confirming above two things, please fill the \Application Form and complete it in all respect. Paste passport size photographs at appropriate places on application form and photo card.

CP Entrance Test Guidelines

1. Instructions to students taking CP Entrance Test 1.1. Read carefully the instructions on the first page of CP Entrance Test Paper.

1.2. You are advised not to spend too much time on one particular question

1.3. Do not help your neighbour in your own interest.

1.4. In the examination hall you are required to bring the Admit Card and blue/black pen, pencil, sharpener and eraser etc.

1.5. Use of calculator/slide rules is not allowed.

1.6. Mobile phone is not allowed inside the examination hall.

1.7. While coming for the test you have to make your own arrangement for conveyance, boarding & lodging etc. No reimbursement will be made in this regard.

2.2. CP Entrance Test for admission is conducted at various test centers across the nation as mentioned in the course information.

2.3. Student desires to opt the Test Centre of their choice is advised to submit the filled in Application Form at earliest.

2.4. If the Application Form is received after the due date, the student may not get the center of his/her choice. In such a case, the student will have to appear in the CP Entrance Test at the Test Centre allotted by the institute.

2.5. Career Point has all the rights to change the Test Centre of any student. The information of any change whatsoever will be sent to the student in due time.

3. Admit Card for the CP Entrance Test 3.1. Admit card, having CP Entrance Test Roll Number and Address of the Entrance Test center allotted would be issued to the applicant.

3.2. Admit Card would be sent by ordinary post.

3.3. Admit Card will be dispatched to you only if we receive your Application Form 10 days prior to the CP Entrance Test day. If your application form reaches later than above, you have to personally collect your admit card from our office, you may also collect your admit card on the test day, about an hour before the examination. In this case, you may enquire about your Test Centre and Roll Number telephonically 2 days prior to the test.

3.4. In case the student does not receive admit card on time, he/she should contact our Admission Coordinator to know his/her Entrance Test Roll Number and Entrance Test centre. In such case, student must contact Centre In-charge of the Test Centre on the test day about an hour before the test with the proof of sending the application form to us. After verification, the Centre In-charge may allow the student to appear in the test.

3.5. You may also check your roll number and test center onour website www.careerpoint.ac.in

3.6. A plea that student failed to receive the intimation of permission to appear for the test will not be accepted as a reason for any type of redress. The institute is also not responsible for any postal delay.

4. Last Date for Submitting Application Form

4.1. For each course, there is pre-determined last date for submitting Application Form.

4.2. To avoid last minute trouble, waiting in long queue, we would advise you that you must submit your application form well in advance.

5. Status of Submitted Application Form

An applicant can check the status of submitted Application Form on our website http://www.careerpoint.ac.in

6. Declaration of CP Entrance cum Scholarship Test Result 6.1. Results will also be put on our website.

6.2. Candidate may enquire his/her CP Entrance Test result telephonically from our Help Desk for their respective courseas per the result declaration schedule given.

6.3. Result may also be informed to student though SMS.

6.4. Confirmation of result will be the sole responsibility of the candidate and the institute does not undertake any responsibility in this regard.

7. Fee Deposition after confirmation of Result After confirmation of selection in CP Entrance Test, student must deposit the course fee as applicable as per any one of the fee deposition procedure mentioned on pages 1before the last date of fee deposition. If you fail to deposit the fee before last date, then offer for admission to you will be withdrawn and your seat will be allotted to wait list candidate.

8. Reappearance Provision for CP Entrance Test 8.1. If a student failed in a particular CP Entrance Test and wishes to reappear for next phase of admission test then he/she may apply for next

CP Entrance Test.

8.2. For this, student should write an application on plain paper to the institute; making a request for reappearance. In this application student should clearly mention his/her Name, Father’s Name, Previous CP Entrance Test Roll Number, Date of the CP Entrance Test (reappearance), and choice of the Test Center etc. This application must be accompanied with following documents.

8.2.1. One passport size photograph similar to what you have already pasted on your Application Form.

8.2.2. CP Entrance Test Reappearance fee of Rs. 300/- in favour of “Career Point” payable at ‘Kota (Raj).

8.2.3. The original copy of Admit Card of previous CP Entrance Test.

8.3. Submit personally or Send by post all the above documents along with your application to the institute. On receipt of all the documents; the institute will issue a new Admit Card to the student with details of new CP Entrance Test Roll Number, Test Center, Time& Date of the CP Entrance Test.

Fee Deposition Procedure

After confirmation of selection/admission at Career Point, you may deposit the course fee in any of the following mode

1. At the Fee Deposition Counter in the institute premises

1.1. You may deposit the fee by Demand Draft or Pay Order in the institute’s bank account at Bank Counter situated inside the institute premises through standard fee deposition challan available in our office.

1.2. Please note that cheque (local or outstation) / cash will not be accepted.

2. By Post

2.1. You may deposit the fee by post using bank Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank.

2.2. The Demand Draft should be A/c payee & drawn in favour of ‘Career Point’ payable at ‘Kota (Rajasthan)’.

2.3. The student must write his/her Name; Father’s Name and CP Entrance Test Roll Number or Application form Number on the backside of Demand Draft.

2.4. The student should send the DD by Registered Post/Courier immediately to the institute so that it reaches us on or before the last date of fee deposition.

2.5. The Demand Draft may be faxed (0744-3040050)to the institute for faster communication. However, in such a case the admission will be on temporary basis. The confirmation of admission is subjected to the receipt of Demand Draft in original.

2.6. Student must keep photocopy of Demand Draft for future reference.

3. Anywhere in India directly in Institute’s State Bank of India (SBI) account

3.1. You may directly deposit the fee in Career Point’s Account at any branch of the SBI (State Bank of India) banks all over India in Account No. 30589562818 by Demand Draft or Pay Order or in cash.

3.2. To deposit the fee into SBI bank anywhere in India, student must use standard fee deposition challan given to you along with application kit. It can also be downloaded from our website.

3.3. The student must write his/her Name; Father’s Name and CP Entrance Test Roll No. or application form number on fee deposition challan clearly.

3.4. After fee deposition, student must send photocopy of the Institute Copy of the Bank challan either by Fax or by Registered Post/Courier immediately to the institute so that it reaches us on or before the last date of fee deposition.

3.5. You will have to produce the institute copy & student copy of fee deposition challan at our admission office on the day of your reporting to the institute.

4. Important Guidelines

4.1. We would advise that you must deposit the fee either directly in our bank account or through Demand draft to avoid any kind of risk involved in cash handling during your travel. Please note that we do not accept any cheque.

4.2. The students are advised to deposit the fee as per the schedule given in this booklet on fee chart page and through any of the above-mentioned mode to avoid any sort of inconvenience at later stage.

4.3. Any deviation in fee payment from the prescribed schedule will lead to cancellation (in case of First Installment) and termination (in case of Second Installment) of admission.

5. Service Tax & Education Cess:

Present rate of Service Tax & Education cess is 12.36%. Any change in rate of service tax during the course period will be borne by the student.

Fee Receipt & Temporary I-Card

1. A Fee Receipt and Temporary I-Card will be issued to each admitted student on confirmation of fee deposition through any of the mode mentioned above.

2. Student must collect the Fee Receipt from our admission office after fee deposition.

3. Apart from fee deposition details, Fee Receipt bears student’s Roll Number & Batch. Using roll number you can login Student-Parent Zone on our website www.careerpoint.ac.in

4. Duplicate fee receipt will not be issued to student under any circumstances

Transfer from One Course to Another / Medium Change/ Phase Change / Center Change/ Batch Change

1. Due to any reason, if a student wishes to change course OR Medium of Batch OR Change phase OR Study Center OR Batch, then he should apply on prescribed “Change Form” available at our office.

2. In such case, following charges will be taken from student –

2.2.3. Attach original Identity Card.

2.2.4. Submit whole of the Study Material, Test Papers, Notes etc. given to you till date.

2.2.5. Submit the filled in Application Form in person along with the above mentioned documents to the coordinator in the office.

3. In such case, “Change Charge + Fee of the new course opted” will be adjusted with the fee already paid by the student.

4. Any excess amount in already paid fee will be refunded to the student. Similarly, any shortage of amount in already paid fee will be charged from the student.

Fee Refund Rules If a student leaves the course before completion due to any reason whatsoever, he/she will get the refund of the first installment of the fee after deduction of following amount –

[1] For Crash Course, Action, Mission, Aim, Pre-Foundation fee refund request will be accepted only for one week

Note:

1. No amount will be refunded after two weeks (one week in case of Crash Course, Action, Mission, Aim, and Pre-Foundation) under any circumstances).

2. Refund of school fee will be done as per the school norms.

General Rules for fee refund:

1. No fee will be refunded in case a student leaves the institute after two weeks of admission. Here, his/her departure from the institute may be voluntary or due to any other reasons, whatsoever.

2. The Service Tax &Education Cess on course fee & refund amount is liable to change as per the revision made by Government of India.

3. Fee refund rules are not applicable to the old students of Career Point who have been promoted from Foundation Batches to Fresher Batches. Such students are not eligible for fee refund.

4. No amount of fee will be refunded to a student if he/she does not get selected in JEE (Main + Advanced)/JEE (Main)/Pre-Medical or other competitive examinations.

5. School fee refund will be done as per the school norms. However the competitive examination course fee refund will be done as per details mentioned above.

6. If a student wants to leave the institute and opts for fee refund; he/she should follow the under mentioned steps:

1.1. Collect the Fee Refund Application Form from institute’s reception counter and fill it completely

1.2. Attach original receipt(s) of total fee deposited.

1.3. Attach original Identity Card.

1.4. Also submit whole study material, test papers, notes etc. given to you till date.

1.5. Submit the filled-in refund Application Form in person along with abovementioned documents to the coordinator in the office.

1.6. Only student/parent can submit ‘Fee Refund’ application in person. Please note that, we will not accept the Fee Refund application form from any other person/relative/friend.

1.7. Processing of application for refund takes approximately seven days.

1.8. Fee will be refunded by account payee cheque only in the father or mother’s name.

1.9. Only the student or his/her parent can collect cheque for refund of fee after seven days of submitting the application for refund OR institute will send the cheque to parent by post at home address given in the refund application. Refund cheque will not be given to friend/relative or any other person.

1.10. The student/parents should understand that fee refund is a part of institute’s policy and we strictly follow the refund rules & regulations as mentioned above. However, if the request of refund is submitted (in written with required documents) after the ‘Refund Date’ is over; we will not entertain it. Please also note that refund requests made verbally/orally or through Telephone/email/Fax are also not entertained.

7. Any legal matter/dispute related to fee refund is subject to Kota (Rajasthan) jurisdiction only.

Institute Rules and Regulations 1. Every student must attend the classes in his/her assigned batch only.

2. Student must attend the classes & Test Series regularly. Student and Parents/Guardians will be solely responsible for student’s absenteeism from the classes and Test Series. We do not undertake any responsibility to inform them.

3. Students must maintain a strict discipline. Defaulter students will be restricted from the institute without refund of fee.

4. Home work assigned must be tried sincerely & when asked must be shown during lecture.

5. The instructions communicated through Notice Board should be followed in right spirit.

6. Enrolled students are expected to progress satisfactorily. Any student, whose record falls below the minimum acceptable standard, will be asked to withdraw from the institute. In such cases fees paid will not be refunded.

7. If a student is found to have got admission by way of forged marks sheets, signature of parents etc., his/her studentship will be terminated and full fee will be forfeited.

8. Our course material is exclusively for the use of our bona-fide students only. It shall not be redistributed, sold, loaned or copied. If a student is found to have allowed our study material to be misused, his / her enrolment with Career Point will be terminated without refund of fee and action will be taken against such student as per copy right act. Our decision in such case will be final.

9. Before seeking admission, read & understand fee refund rules contained in this Information Booklet, Fee will be refunded strictly as per fee refund rules.

10. If there is a change in the syllabus during the academic session, the institute shall make all possible efforts to cover the revised syllabus. However, it will not be binding on the institute and no obligation for any such commitment shall be entertained in any case.

11. We reserve the right to deny admission to a student without giving any reason.

12. We reserve the right to make additions and alterations in the Rules, Working hours, Time Table and Test Series as may be deemed necessary from time to time without any prior information.

13. In matters not covered in above rules and regulations, the decision of Director, Career Point shall be final and binding to students and their guardians.

14. All disputes are subject to Kota (Rajasthan) jurisdiction only.

How to fill OMR Application Form? OMR application Form is a computerised form. It will be processed by OMR scanning machine. Therefore, you are advised to fill it very carefully as per the instructions given below, otherwise your form will be rejected.
