Instructions for the manual installation of WHO Anthro for mobile devices
Users with a non-MS Windows PC operating system (OS) who want to install WHO Anthro for
mobile device (MD) to their handheld computers can manually install the software by following
the steps below:
1. Determine whether your mobile device’s OS is WM2003 or WM5 (info available on device
via Start Settings System About)
2. Install the appropriate requirements (compact framework and SQL compact edition).
Depending on the MD's OS do the following:
a. Copy the CAB files to a temporary folder on your device:
- For WM2003 devices, files in wce400\armv4
- For WM5 devices, files in wce500\armv4i
b. On the device’s File Explorer, locate the 2 CABs and tap on each to install
(confirm if necessary)
3. Install WHO Anthro:
a. Copy file WHOAnthro.CAB to a temporary folder on your mobile device
b. On the device’s File Explorer, locate the CAB and tap on it to start the installation
(confirm if necessary)
For detailed instructions on how to copy files to the device (as this depends on the desktop
computer OS) we advise users to consult their MD manual.
After successful installation, users
should delete the CAB files to free disk
space on the MD.
