    i. Definitive is the known definitions, the surface meaning of the

    words.

    ii. Etymological is the evolution/ history of the word.

    iii. Conventional is the mainstream/ pop culture meaning of the word.

    2. Why do we study our expressions and actions?

    a) Understanding who we are makes understanding what we need and

    want easier.

    b) Because we identify ourselves through our expressions and actions

    i. The upcoming exercises will help to demonstrate this connection
