Exchanging the comfort of two meals for prayer and worship, the sta had a “self-denial” experience and an intimate encounter with God during the 9-hour period. “Fasting releases a power relationship with God,” says a speaker from one of the sermons the sta watched during the fast. “The end result is a deeper relationship with Him.” Fasting is a discipline wherein we deny the lesh and give more room for the Spirit to move in us. It’s the key to miracles, freedom from bad habits, and a lot more things that God will do in FASTING: the key to more our lives. Even the Lord Jesus spoke of things happening only when we pray and fast. “When we were younger, we used to pray and fast. Now God is reminding us of that. We are going to restore that in the ministry,” Pastor Alma says. We will have our next corporate fasting on February 26, 2011. Starting off at RBLMHS with 185 in attendance, this tour seems to get promising - and surprising. “We want to connect to all campuses”, pastor Chabby says. Every week, the LTAL team will go to a different campus and share the love of God there. CALENDAR
