LGU-Tanauan Vision

“An agri-industrial town and eco-tourism destination of Eastern Visayas that has a dynamic and empowered community of men, women, and children living under an ecologically-balanced environment with sustainable economic growth through an exemplary gender-responsive governance.”

4

Rationale:

Tanauan citizens have long been engaged in a variety of small-scale industries aside from those purely into production of rice and coconuts, the locality’s staple crops. These agri-industries in a great way sustain the simple livelihood of the town’s folk. For these lot to be mainstreamed into the town’s development, there is a need to promote micro-entrepreneurship, upgrade their trade skills, and encourage them to constantly seek for higher standards in the manufacture and production of their products by way of recognition and incentives to the best performers.
