FIELD TRIPS Additional fees may apply. Schedule available Spring 2018.

FEES: Weekly cost includes lunch and Before/After Care at no additional cost. Registration fee $35 per child (non-refundable, one-time fee). Program Membership ($20 single youth) is required and must remain current through the duration of the program. Tuition includes lunch (no outside food is permitted) – Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options are available. Discount of 10% for each additional child on tuition only; this discount does not apply to fees.

Achievement – We surround your kids with fantastic chances to try new experiences. We show them all they can do when they believe in themselves. Relationships – We’re here to inspire children to work together and play together, creating friendships that can last a lifetime.

Adventure Camp7:30 am to 6:00 pm* Entering 6th through Entering 8th Grade

Whether it’s boating the Dela-ware, biking the canal path, or hiking the trails; Adventure Camp will offer your child daily learn-ing experiences and thrilling times. From basic bike safety to the experience of traveling by bike on the Riverline and cycling town after town your son or daughter will gain confidence in seeking new adventures. Led by an instructor with over 15 years’ experience, you won’t be disap-pointed.

*Adventure Camp will take place during specific weeks. Check the website for more information.

Sports Camp 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Entering 4th through Entering 8th Grade

Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis; Campers will learn fundamentals, drills, rules and the etiquette of various sports. Sports camp will teach campers the value of sportsmanship, teamwork and fair play, while developing/strength-ening their skills and techniques.

A Typical Day at Camp YMCA at RiderWe are planning many fun small and large group activities. The schedule will keep the campers interested, engaged and energized throughout the day, but don’t be surprised if they come home tired!

Our Country Tis of TheeCampers will learn fun facts about the history of our nation while making special art projects and taking trips to local historic landmarks and sites.

Super Science WeekCampers will engage in science-themed games, experiments, and science lab. Did somebody say “Let’s make a mess”?

Week Four (July 16-July 20)

CSI WeekCampers will learn how to follow clues to unmask the secrets of our greatest mysteries.

Week Five (July 23-27)

Culture WeekLearn more about world cultures and traditions and the history that makes us all unique.

Week Six (July 30-August 3)

Team Spirit WeekCampers show team pride, share their chants, and support/compete in team challenges.

Week Seven (August 6-10)

Let’s go CampingGet the outdoor experience by learning to pitch a tent and survival tactics. Somebody bring the marshmallows!

StorytellersCampers become a character in a book or an author. They will have a ball acting out their favorite chapters! Parents are invited on Friday for a special afternoon performance.

Lunch ProgramAll campers will eat lunch at Rider University’s Daly Hall. A variety of meal options will be available to all campers providing them with a healthy and delicious lunch.

Your weekly tuition payment includes lunch and no outside food is permitted. Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free options are available.

Academic EnrichmentThe Y recognizes that while camp gives children an opportunity to gain new skills and perspectives through experiences, it is also an opportunity to advance their love of academic learning. Everyday campers will have specific time set aside for reading and fun academic games that will increase their self-confidence and build on the skills they obtained the previous academic year.

• TRANSPORTATION MUST BE SELECTED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION • Campers must have the same bus stop location for both pickup and drop off • Transportation fee: $25 per week additional am/pm; $15 per week one way • A minimum of 5 campers is needed for each bus stop or it will be excluded from the route • FYI: There will NOT be any YMCA supervision at any of the bus stops • Please allow a 7 minute grace period (before & after all times) • Transportation fees are due by June 18th and are non-refundable

Medical & Shot Records New Jersey state law requires us to collect proof of current immunization and physical as well as known allergies and medications. This year Camp YMCA at Rider will collect required documents through a secure HIPAA compliant portal. The portal will be available in late Winter. Parents will be notified by email and a link to the portal will be on our website www.yridercamp.org. Records should be submitted no later than June 1, 2018. registration. The deposit is applied to the weekly tuition fee.

___________ Refund Policy: Camp YMCA at Rider will refund payment, less the deposit, if cancellation is made within 7 days of the camp week beginning. No refunds will be given after this point. In case of illness or health related incidents, refund requests should be submitted accompanied by a doctor’s note. All refunds are subject to director’s approval only and are never guaranteed. I understand that in the case that my child is suspended and/or expelled from camp, there will be NO refund of camp fees for the period in concern.
