• Tweet a lot of links, that’s what people are looking for on Twitter

• You can’t Tweet too much

• Nix the conversation on Twitter – it doesn’t work

• Focus on gathering and sharing as much interesting, relevant content

as you can

• Negative content or remarks are not good

Helpful Tips & Suggestions

• Don’t reply too often

• Check out Buffer app for analytics

• Timing – Between 3-5pm

• RTs are the highest on Friday

• Headline is the most important

• Try putting the link toward the beginning of the Tweet (example: New post up now: link

goes here, then title of the link or description)

• Don’t send out lots of links within a very short period of time. Schedule them to post

throughout the day at spread out intervals

• Try Tweeting on Saturday and Sunday (less noise)

• Take the time to fill out your bio

• You should include “guru” or “expert” in your bio if you are one

• Bio is only place you should be talking about yourself and using the

words “I, we, me, us”, etc.
