We have the opportunity to go out into the world and spread that same message. So, as we get ready to celebrate Easter weekend and the message of a God who would give up His life to save us, I want to ask you this question: There’s somebody in your life that needs to hear the life-changing message of Jesus, and maybe Easter weekend is the What do you usually think about? In this series, we will explore why we keep making excuses and what the Bible teaches us about renewing our minds. time that they’ll be most open to an invitation. Would you consider stepping out of your comfort zone and inviting someone to join you? The best way we can respond to Jesus’ offer of salvation is to extend the invitation to others. It is going to be a fantastic weekend of celebrating who God is and what he is doing! It’s a time when we celebrate the incredible love of God as we remem- ber that He came to us to bring us to Him. Because of the cross we’ve been offered forgiveness and because of the resurrec- tion we can have eternal life. Good Friday and Easter Sunday is all about how far God was willing to go in order to defeat sin and death.
