A NOTE FROM FATHER ANDREW
Dear Parish Family,
I hope you had a wonderful July 4th with family and friends. This weekend we are giving a special announcement for the festival. We are in need of many volunteers to help with the vari-ous venues for the entire week. Please consider signing up after mass today. The success of the festival relies on you the volunteers so please join us for this great parish event. Whatever time you can give it is greatly appreciated. You can go to the atrium, café or our website and sign up. Thank you for all you do for the parish especially for your financial support. Looking for-ward to seeing you at the festival.
This is the last week of our series Game Plan, I hope you have gotten a better understanding for what God plan is for you in your life and where He want to lead you.
In today’s Gospel a scholar questions Jesus about how to gain eternal life. In case anyone ever wonders whether heaven is within reach, one only needs to refer to this Gospel. Jesus provides a clear answer that gives us a clear plan of action: We are to love God with all that we are, and
also to love our neighbors. Really, it’s that simple. When we love God in this way, truly as the Lord of our life, then loving our neighbors becomes the easy part. When our hearts and minds are full of the love of God—who loves all people—then it will necessarily follow that we too will desire to share that love with others and not count the cost. The good Samaritan is an ex-cellent example of this kind of love. Without hope of repayment, he gave of his time and his money to help the poor victim. But in return, the Samaritan will surely “gain eternal life.”
Have a great week. See you on the weekend!

What is the relationship between Faith in our Future and Faith to Move Mountains:
Both projects begin with faith because faith is at the heart of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. As a Diocese, we are
eager to build upon the past. Faith in Our Future will help us to envision strong parish communities and diocesan ministries
that will be effective into the future. People providing financial support through Faith to Move Mountains are making an
investment in the future, providing needed resources to pursue our shared priorities. Together, the Faith in Our Future plan-
ning process and the Faith to Move Mountains endowment campaign will result in actions that respond to the challenges of
our day and move the Diocese of Trenton confidently forward into the future.
These projects complement each other. The people can be reassured that both projects embrace the optimal use of all re-
sources in the Diocese by being intentional and prudent in planning and investing.
PRAYER FOR “FAITH IN OUR FUTURE “
Lord Jesus Christ, Word of the Father, we turn to you. Watch over our plans. Enliven our service to the Church. Sustain our labors.
Guide our steps in the search of the best ways to proclaim your Gospel.
Our poverty is great. We do not place trust in ourselves but only in you. Encourage us, reassure us, give us your blessing. You who
with the Holy Spirit live and reign in us and in your Church forever and ever. Amen.
(Prayer of Blessed Pope Paul VI)
REMEMBRANCE IN YOUR WILL
A remembrance in your will for your
parish is a wonderful way to provide for
the future well-being of your parish
community.

P ARISH OFFICE SUMMER HOURS
The Parish Office is open 9 am – 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday & 9 am - 12pm on Friday during the Summer.
Tabernacle Council 8733 of the Knights of Columbus will hold a Blood Drive this Sunday, July 10th
from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in Hoffman Hall.
There are always shortages of blood supplies in the Penn-Jersey region. Summer vacations make the chal-
lenges of maintaining sufficient blood supplies even more critical, requiring more imports of blood from
other parts of the country. Don’t leave the donating of blood to the other person, because we need your
blood as well as theirs. Donating blood is safe, easy, and practically discomfort free. There is no gift great-
er than the gift of life. First time donors are encouraged to join in this very rewarding experience.
You can sign-up for a time slot at www.redcrossblood.org/pennjersey .You can also sign up by calling
Jim Kukura at 609 268-2795. Thank you for participating.
Interested in becoming a Knights of Columbus? We would be honored to welcome you. Please contact
