TRANSPORTATION

• Send a note with your child if they are leaving early or have a change in transportation.

• If the change in transportation involves riding a different bus, you MUST call the bus barn at 281-641-8720 in advance.

• Fill out transportation information sheet and turn in to teacher before leaving.

stickers, erasers . . . for all students in class.

HomeworkHomework packets will be

given on Mondays and to be completed at your child's own pace. Parents and students, please sign the Homework Sheet, and have your child turn in completed homework on Friday.

There will be no homework the first week of school.

What is “My School's Cool?” My School's Cool (MSC) is a special

community-driven program committed to building relationships with local schools in the Humble Independent School District.

Schools will compete with each other for the highest accumulation of points and earn cash rewards.

My School’s Cool is a full year marketing program that runs from August through May.

Shopping at Deerbrook Mall

Each dollar spent at Deerbrook Mall earns one point.

Receipts will be rounded to the next dollar at .51 cents.

There will be opportunities to earn double points which include double point retailers and double point events.

There are two ways for shoppers to redeem points. MSC Redemption Display – Customers can

simply write the name of the school on the back of their store receipt and place it in the designated slot or bin for their school at the Deerbrook Mall MSC display. If a customer wishes to retain their mall receipt, they can request a point pass from the Deerbrook Mall Office or Barnes & Noble Customer Service and place the point pass in the appropriate locker for their school or take to the participating school.

Participating Schools – Each school is requested to have a location for parents, students, and teachers to drop off their receipts or point passes to designated School Coordinator.

Build-a-Bear, Chick-fil-A, Forever 21, Gamestop, Hollister, Sarku Japan,

Vans, and Visible Changes earn double points

2 points per dollar Mall Sales

Double Points – Receipts form Santa/Easter set and Deerbrook Mall

gift cards purchases.

100 points Monthly School Newsletter

Schools that include MSC information in their school newsletter will receive

points, but are limited to one newsletter per month.

100 points School Bulletin Board or Display

Schools that promote MSC on the bulletin boards or a school display must send a photo and display a minimum of 4 weeks. Limit two per program during

the following periods: fall & spring semester
